Modest fashion street style stuns at AFW
Australian Fashion Week showcased over twenty homegrown designers, and while the shows were bold, vibrant and overall reflective of Australian fashion - we shifted our style lens to the runway that oozes individuality and self-expression; with a focus on the modest fashion sub-culture.
Modest street style captured the empowerment and emboldenment of modest fashion culture with each thread, layer and hijab; unknowingly expanding the spectrum of Australian street style.
It was celebrated across renowned publications and media outlets - giving a nod to the subculture, and quietly acknowledging there is indeed space for all of us to coexist in fashion - just imagine where that openness can lead us.
Here are our favourite modest street style looks of the week.
